Hi, I’m Elizabeth — founder of Aura and Asana.

I first discovered yoga back in 2015 while training and competing in Scottish powerlifting. What started as a way to balance out the intensity of lifting — to calm my mind and support my body — quickly became something much deeper. Yoga became my go-to for recovery, focus, and overall wellbeing.

Though I’ve since hung up my lifting belt, my love for yoga never left. Eventually, just being a student wasn’t enough — I felt called to share the practice with others, which led me to complete my yoga teacher training.

Now, I teach yoga part-time alongside my corporate job, using the practice to stay grounded, present, and connected.

Aura and Asana also offers a selection of aromatherapy oils (for enjoyment and for everyday ailments), as well as massage therapy — all rooted in the same intention: to support holistic wellbeing in a way that feels good and sustainable.
